Postcards for Donations

Donate to support Black artists’ voices and/or the fight for racial equality and justice, and I’ll send you a hand-painted hydrangea watercolor postcard featuring a heart-shaped hydrangea. Each one is unique, slightly different in color and composition, and was hand-painted here in Kyoto.

Step One: Donate $20 USD or more to *directly* either the ACLU Foundation or Art + Practice (note: due to US law, only American citizens may donate to the ACLU)

The ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) “[…]has been our nation’s guardian of liberty, working in courts, legislatures, and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties that the Constitution and the laws of the United States guarantee everyone in this country.”

Art + Practice‘s mission is to “(1) collaborate with a nonprofit social service provider (i.e. First Place for Youth) to support the needs of 18 to 24-year-old foster youth who are transitioning into adulthood, and (2) provide free access to museum-curated contemporary art celebrating artists of color.”

Step Two: Take a screenshot of your donation receipt.

Step Three: Direct Message me ASAP* through my Instagram page along with a screenshot of your donation as well as your name/mailing address.

*I have just 5 postcards available, so please message me immediately after donating to ensure that you are able to claim one of them. This page will be unpublished once all postcards are claimed.
